Tutor Action For Kids is a national charity helping young disabled people to develop their independence and find employment. Our vision is a world where all people living with a disability get to lead the life they choose. As part of this, we provide bespoke employment skills training and organise work experience across North London. At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 26. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, with experience of working with young disabled people to join our Service Delivery Team in Hornsey North London. You may be a teacher, experienced facilitator, a youth worker or a teaching assistant with an interest in developing your skills in planning for and running group sessions. As a Tutor in our Service Delivery team, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of our high-quality Education and Training and Life and Work programmes to young people with learning disabilities and autism between the ages of 14-25 As part of our busy team, you will plan and deliver a range of employability and work-related sessions to young people. You will also work closely with Schools to deliver aspects of the programmes in school and to ensure that young people get the best out of their time with us.
