Employment Broker / Job Coach Action For Kids is a national charity helping young people with disabilities to develop their independence and find employment. Our vision is a world where all people living with a disability get to live the life they choose, just like their non-disabled peers. We provide bespoke employment skills training and organise work experience across North London. At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 26. We are looking for an Employment Broker / Job Coach to join our service delivery team. The role will involve working with individuals, assessing their employability skills, liaising with employers and brokering new opportunities for supported employment, volunteering, and work placements; and providing specialist one to one coaching to enable young people to progress towards their own goals and objectives. You will have extensive experience of working with young people with learning disabilities and understand the barriers that often prevent them from getting a job. You will also have experience and a successful track record of working with employers and supporting disabled people into employment and be passionate about their right to live the life they want. Your energy and commitment will enable you to play a key role in realising this aspiration. You will be part of a highly committed and professional team the works across a range of disabilities.
