Supported Employment Broker (£25,000 - £27,500)

Action For Kids is a national charity helping young disabled people develop their independence and find employment. Our vision is a world where all people living with a disability get to lead the life they choose. As part of this, we provide bespoke employment skills training and organise work experience across North London. At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 26.

We want to recruit an Employment Broker to join our experienced and committed Service Delivery team. The role will involve approaching and working with employers and brokering new opportunities for supported employment and work placements. You will also provide some specialist one to one coaching to support young people to progress towards further independence and work.

You will have extensive experience of working with disabled young people and understand the barriers that often prevent them from getting a job. You will have a successful track record of working with employers and supporting disabled people into employment and be passionate about their right to live the life they want. Your energy and commitment will enable you to play a key part in realizing this aspiration.

Salary, £25,000 to £27,500.
