Equipment maintenance and aftercare

We provide equipment under two schemes

Gifted outright

This applies to equipment that does not generally require on-going maintenance (e.g. trikes & buggies)

Powered wheelchairs provided by Action For Kids

At Action For Kids we recognise the expense involved in maintaining costly mobility equipment. If we have provided your powered wheelchair we will, in most cases, automatically cover the cost of maintenance and after care.

Maintenance grants for privately owned equipment

Action For Kids will also consider maintenance for privately owned mobility equipment.

If you are experiencing difficulties in meeting the costs of maintaining your mobility equipment then please contact us.
