Family Support Services

At Action For Kids, we recognise that there is very little support available to parents of disabled children. There is no one central place where you can find out what help is available or what to do if your local authority cannot help.

Our Family Support Services department provides a helpline for families, it provides advice or just someone to listen and understand. Last year we received and made over 9000 calls - a 100% increase in calls received on the previous year.

Family Support will also visit children and their families to provide practical help if needed or just emotional support.
