Urban Beach Volleyball Tournament

The beach comes to Broadgate on Friday 11th June as Action For Kids hosts it's 2nd annual beach volleyball tournament. 

In 2009 teams from all over the UK battled it out to become champions and in the process raised £50,000!  To see them in action CLICK HERE 

The Event

Volleyball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and this team building tournament challenges corporates from all over the UK to enjoy a day of fun whilst raising money for children and young people with physical and learning difficulties.  Teams have the chance to play at least 3 matches lasting approximately 20 minutes and we can arrange pre match training to get you up to scratch!  Prizes will be presented to the winning team and for other categories including 'Best Team Kit' and 'Spectacular Serving'.

How do I enter a team?

We have space for just 12 teams and each team must commit to a minimum of sponsorship of £2500.  Each team should be made up of approximately 10 players (with 5 allowed on court at any time).  This means 10 players raising just £250 each.  Registration must be complete before Saturday 1 May when a £250 deposit is required.  To sign up now contact Sarah Greene or Lyn Prodger on 020 8347 8111 or email the events team.
