Run To The Beat
Sunday 5th October 2008
- A 13 mile run with music stations lining the route through three Olympic venues.
- The Course will start and finish at the O2 which will become a festival centre for music and entertainment; before, during and after the run.
- Using a specialist consultant, live bands and musicians will be placed on stages around the course to inspire runners and spectators - maximising the performance of all competitors.
- After the event, competitors will be able to refresh and join families and friends to attend a concert in the O2 in the afternoon.
Action For Kids Events Team will be with you every step of the way providing fundraising advice and ideas to make raising money simple and effective, nutritional and training advice and motivation and support when you need it most.
As a member of the Action For Kids Run To The Beat Team, you will receive:
- A top quality running vest.
- A dedicated member of staff to provide support and answer any questions you have.
- A comprehensive fundraising pack.
- Merchandise including balloons, collection cans, stickers and posters.
- Great cheering support around the course!
How to apply:
We ask our runners to pay £30 registration fee and to raise a minimum sponsorship of £370. We have a limited number of guaranteed entries so please apply for one of these places as soon as possible.
