How you can help us
There are many ways in which you can involved with and help Action For Kids.
- You can make a donation - any amount, large or small, will help make a difference to the lives of the disabled children and young people we are here to support.
- You can take part in an event, or even set up one of your own
- You can help us through the company you work for
- You can support us through your Charitable Trust or Foundation
- You can become a volunteer - you could help out in our office in London, or you might prefer becoming a volunteer raffle seller in your area
- You can raise funds through ClickNow - search the internet and help Action For Kids at no cost to you
- You can recycle your mobile phone or printer cartridges
- You can eat or shop for Action For Kids!

It's the only place where you can take on Olympic or Paralympic sports to raise money for charity by choosing a fantastic challenge and being part of the excitement around London 2012!

Olympic Sport Challenge
Learn Olympic or Paralympic sports by taking on a 5, 10, 20 or 30 sport challenge. Choose your sports from the 30 Olympic and Paralympic Sports and do at least 3 hours of training or take part in a competitive event As you complete each sport, you can download a certificate and get it signed by your coach. This one is an ideal option during Beach Volleyball week next June as we will have at least 3 sports on offer.

2012km Challenge
This challenge is great for teams or individuals who want to push themselves. There are three possible levels depending on how adventurous you are feeling:

You or your team must cover your chosen distance via one or more of the following sports (for teams this is an aggregated total):
Running (jogging, road-running, on a treadmill or on a track)
Walking (on a treadmill, on a track, rambling or hillwalking)
Cycling (in a gym, on a track, on the roads or off-road)
Swimming (in a pool or in open water)
Canoeing/Kayaking (inland or offshore)
Horse riding
Rowing (on a rowing machine or on water)
Sailing (inland or offshore)
Windsurfing (inland and offshore)
Wheelchair (track, road or in a gym)

Gold Challenge in a Day
This challenge is great for keen gym goers, regular runners/swimmers/cyclists or triathletes. There are three levels of challenge; the sprint, endurance and ultra. You or your team must cover the distances back to back recording your total time including transitions.
