Employee volunteering
Action For Kids can offer opportunities to volunteer with our work experience programme, helping young people with disabilities to develop their skills and gain confidence in their abilities.
Volunteering with Action For Kids is a very rewarding experience and offers employees the opportunity to develop their communication and work skills. It also lifts some of the barriers perceived about working with disabled young people.
You can read more about opportunities to volunteer with us here. If you or your company would like to get involved, please contact Lyn Prodger on 020 8347 8111 or email lprodger@actionforkids.org.
Research Now
Staff at online research company Research Now volunteer each year and bring a team to Action For Kids to arrange and take part in our annual Sports Day.
Royal Sun Alliance
A team from the marketing department at RSA Horsham office visited recently to work with some of our disabled young people and to help them to improve their presentation and public speaking skills. They also joined our weekly karaoke / choir practice session while they were here!

Barclays Bank
A fantastic team of volunteers from Barclays Retail and Business Banking regularly visit us at Action For Kids and invite disabled young people into their Canary Wharf office to take advantage of the Barclays Money Skills programme and strengthening their financial skills, confidence and knowledge.

Petit Papillon
Staff at local property management company Petit Papillon are great friends of Action For Kids. This year they gave a very generous donation to fund an adpated trike for Hollie.

They recently closed their office for the afternoon to take a group of local disabled young people out for lunch and then for a bowling competition.

Enormous thanks to everyone for their time and support.
