Towards Independence

Our charity has unveiled a new service called Towards Independence, training disabled young people in domestic and practical life skills such as handling money and using public transport. The charitable programme consists of training sessions in a replica house so that children and young people can learn everything from using washing machines to dealing with utility bills. Students receive an OCN qualification for successful participation in the course, taking the first steps towards living independently.
