Independent Living and transition

As disabled children grow into young people and then adults, their needs and aspirations change. There is also a move from accessing children's services to adult services. Disabled young people work with their families, schools, governments and charitable organizations to plan for the future. Our charity assists with this transition, which involves issues such as finding a job, participation in further education, decisions about housing and the young person's hopes and dreams for the future.
